Understanding of "Qi"

"Qi" is the life-force energy that permeates the earth we reside in. It is the energy that brings life to all beings. Though it cannot be seen or heard, it is always around and surrounding us in this environment of ours, influencing us in one-way of another.

By the law of nature, "Qi" is carried and dispersed by the wind and preserve in the water. And in the practice of classical Feng Shui, the skill is applied to manipulate the "Qi" to bring about beneficial changes in our lives.

There are basically the presence of three form of "Qi" namely, the Heaven, Earth and the Man "Qi". In Feng Shui, the intrinsic harmony between these "Qi" is very important. Precautious measures have to always been there to ensure that harmony between the three is not broken.

Everyone reacts differently to the "Qi' that is surrounding them. Likewise, "Qi" can also be in their different stages and form too, depending on the environment.

Feng Shui will in this case, come into place to help harness the correct "Qi" in a certain environment to benefit each individual being accordingly. And as "Qi" can never be created or destroyed, Feng Shui can also help to redirect or revitalize the "Qi" to better achieve the desired objective.
